Abstract

A prospective study of 60 patients with anal fissures that aims to compare between two different types of
treatment ( Botulinum toxin A injection BTA and lateral internal sphincterotomy LIS ) regarding pain-relief,
healing rates and side effects and to establish a systematic method to be followed in the treatment.
